Vieques has many stunning beaches, which are generally quite empty,
even during high season. The image above is of half of Sun Bay, the
beautiful municipal beach. Other beaches are located on land administered
by US Fish and Wildlife. Vieques also has an amazing bioluminescent bay.
This is Sun Bay looking in the opposite
direction from the picture above. You
can see that the beach has a wide
swath of sand and is lined with palm
trees. By the way, this is high season.

located on the largest US wildlife

on the former navy base, Camp
